Walton-on-Thames is located in Surrey. Visitors will find the town located about 25 kilometers from Charring Cross, between Esher and Weybridge. The River Thames winds its way through town on the north side. The original area of the village is situated to the north. Visitors can easily reach the town from London, via the railway, by taking the Waterloo train. The town of Walton on Thames has been home to a range of famous people over the years including Tony Walton who designed costumes and scenery and the town was also the birthplace of the singer and actress who is known as Julie Andrews.
