This museum charts the lives of the East End's past residents, in particular specialising on the subject of education. It is housed in the largest of what were known as London's "Ragged Schools", schools which provided education for children unable to pay Victorian school fees.
There is also an exhibition about the childrens' charity Dr Barnardos as it was the legendary Dr Thomas Bernardo who founded the school.
The museum is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 5pm. Admission is free.
