This museum is a must for any self-respecting fan of aeroplanes. As you would expect there is a range of historical planes and various other exhibitions from the history of aviation.
There are also various high-tech interactive exhibits including a Jet cockpit and a Red Arrows flight simulator.
And appropriately enough, the museum is located in the London district of Hendon which has a long historical association with the aerospace industry.
The museum is open daily from 10am-6pm. Admission costs around £6.50 for adults. Guided tours are available if you book in advance.
