Gieves and Hawkes

1 Savile Row, W1
Nearest Tube: Piccadilly Circus

This is one of the most well known tailors on the world-famous Savile Row. It was founded in 1785 and some of the first customers included Admiral Nelson and the Duke of Wellington. Even today its clientele continues to be very exclusive and includes Prince Charles.

Gieves and Hawkes sells everything the discerning gentleman could need, including its famous bespoke suits. But prices are expensive (a two-piece bespoke suit would cost you upwards of £1500!) so if your budget is limited you will probably just be able to afford one of its silk ties!
