| The Edinburgh Weaving Centre is located on the Castlehill stretch of Edinburgh's Royal Mile. |
| This is the place to go to learn everything you could ever need to know about tartan, from the history of the cloth to modern weaving techniques. There are exhibitions, demonstrations and even one of the oldest pieces of tartan in the world. And of course there are plenty of opportunities for you to purchase your very own piece of Scotland's national fabric. The Edinburgh Weaving Centre is open daily from 9.00am to 5.30pm. Entry costs around £3 for adults. |
