The English town of Tamworth is located in the county of Staffordshire. The town of Tamworth is located about fourteen miles north east of the city centre of Birmingham and about one hundred and three miles north west of London. The town has been named after the River Tame that flows through the town. The River Anker also flows through the town. The town of Tamworth has a population of about seventy four thousand five hundred and thirty one.

The town of Tamworth is rich in history and this history includes the Moat House and also Tamworth Castle. The town of Tamworth has a football team that is non-league.

The first full sized real snow slope in the United Kingdom known as Snowdome is located in the town. There is a ten pin bowling complex within the town known as Strykers bowl and this bowling complex is only a short distance away from Drayton Manor Theme Park.

The main industries in the town of Tamworth include clothing, logistics, engineering, brick, paper and tile manufacturing. The town was the location for the headquarters of the car company Reliant and this company produced some of the most famous cars that includes the three wheeled robin models and also the Scimitar sports car. This car company was based in the town for many decades.
