The accommodation offered is a two bedroom flat, very comfortably furnished and equipped able to sleep 2 – 6 people.

The cottage boasts a full sized kitchen, large lounge with a balcony enjoying views over the lagoon and the Knysna Golf Course. Within the gardens is a most interesting immaculately maintained swimming pool with waterfall and separate bubble pool, surrounded by a large deck and thatched outdoor bar. The gardens are lush and beautiful. The Cottage is situated in the tranquil and beautiful Hunters Home area, only 5 minutes from the town centre, very close to the Pezula and Knysna Golf courses. The Heads and Leisure Island are very close.

The grounds include a stunning 8 metre long heated pool with waterfall feature. The main town is 5 minutes away and hosts a wonderful selection of shops, shopping malls, and an amazing array of restaurants, bars and cafes. Within a 5 minute drive of very safe beaches on Leisure Island. Knysna Golf Club is a 5 minute walk. Two more championship golf courses, Simola and Pezula within 15 min drive.

Hunters Retreat is located within walking distance of the scenic Knysna lagoon in the centre of the Garden Route. It is just a 5 min walk from the Knysna Golf Course and 5 min. drive from the famous Pezula Golf Course and a 20 min drive from Simola Golf Course. The town of Knysna is an easy 25 min walk,or a couple of minutes away from Town, where you will find many shops and restaurants. There are beaches on the lovely Leisure Island which is just a 5 min drive or 20 min walk away.

Knysna itself is a really lovely Town, built round a stunning lagoon, teeming with Restaurants , wonderful and sometimes unusual Shopping, and many activities to take part in.

Within easy reach of the town , the Garden Route itself has a wealth of things to do, places to visit, or interesting Walks. An Elephant Park is close by as is a wonderful Bird and Monkey sanctuary, and Beaches everywhere.Golf: The Knysna Golf course is a 5 min. walk away. There are two championship golf courses, Simola and Pezula within a 20 min drive away. Clubs etc. are available at all courses. Within a half hour drive, there are 5 Golf course, and within an hour, no less than 11 in total.
