The English village of Seahouses is located within the area that is known as North Northumberland. The village of Seahouses is located about twenty kilometres north of the town of Alnwick. This area of Northumberland Coastline is known for being an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The village of Seahouses is classed as the honey pot of the region as it attracts a vast number of visitors not only from the United Kingdom but also from other parts of the world. There are a vast number of International tourists that come to the village whilst also visiting other attractions within the local area. There is a wealth of attraction in the surrounding area and these include the national park of Northumberland, the coastal line of the area and also Farne Islands.

The village of Seahouses has a local fishing port that still operates today and this also serves the tourist trade that comes into the area. There is an array of shops within the village and there are also a number of booths along the harbour. There are a number of boat companies that operate from the harbour within Seahouses. Some of the boating companies offer packages to tourists and these including going out in the boats to see some seabirds and seals. The boating trips also tell the Grace Darling story or some of the many scuba diving stories that are connected with the area. The bother of Grace Darling is buried within the cemetery at North Sunderland and he died in 1903 at the age of eighty-four. The current lifeboat within Seahouses is named Grace Darling.
