![]() | Poole Hotels: The town of Poole is located in Dorset, along the English southern coast. The town can be reached from London via train in about two hours and it is well worth the trip, particularly in the summer when the city is home to a variety of fireworks displays. One of the most interesting sites to see in the Poole area is that of Brownsea Island, which is part of the National Trust, and is home to a massive population of very tame red squirrels. The island can be easily reached by boat. There is an admission fee to the island. |
