There is a monument of Sir Nicholas that dates back to 1627 and the monument of Edmund that dates back to 1693.
The town of Padstow was originally a fishing port however it is now a very popular destination for tourists but it does still have some of its fishing fleets. The town is mainly a haven for yachting and it is located on a dramatic coastline that has a few harbours that are easy to navigate.
