The historically well known county of Monmouthshire proudly have its traditional town Monmouth. The town itself is located at south-east of Wales and if you know the two great rivers of Monnow and Wye then there is an interesting fact that the town situates where the bridges of both rivers meet.

The town has many historical monuments to offer, let's take Raglan Castle as our first stop. The castle has an impressive history and has seen many downs and falls of the native kings. It dates back to the 1400s, and the central location in the town attracts tourist from all over the town. In the most apocalyptical civil wars the castle has seen devastating effects, but still it preserves the long gone glory. The government introduced many essential reforms of parking and shopping malls along the castle to facilitate the visitors.

There are many other historic monuments that date even further back than the castle, take for an instance Tintern Abbey. It was built in the early 12th Century and has gone through many renovations but has maintained the historic influence. If you have read William Wordsworth then you must have seen an inspiration that the famous poet has got from this splendid Abbey. A continuous exhibition can be utilized to get information about the historical background that this memorial carries with itself. Special and dedicated interest from the organizations helped the magnificent Abbey to have all the latest essentials that are necessary for a famous tourist place.
