Picasso's fans can truly enjoy the town as it holds the second largest collection of the great painter in the Great Britain. The collection is the result of the art gallery project by the name of Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art. The art gallery as its name suggests only holds the contemporary master pieces of art. The town's night life is famous for its raw side of the life. The focal point of activities is The Empire, right in the centre of town. Local bands play native and exotic tunes with utmost attitude.
