Llanelli, located in Carmarthenshire, is situated on the West Wales coast. The town is about 16 kilometers from Swansea. The town is most well known for its tinplate production. Today it is one of the largest towns in Wales. There is a variety of different attractions in the immediate area, including the Millennium Coastal Path as well as Pembrey Country Park. Llanelly House is also a popular sight as is Parc Howard Museum, which houses a collection of Llanelli pottery. The town can be easily reached from other areas and provides ample options for dining and accommodations.

The welsh town of Llanelli is located within the Carmarthenshire County. The town is located on the banks of the Western coast of Wales. The town of Llanelli is located about ten miles North West of the area of Swansea and about twelve miles to the south east of the town of Carmarthen.

The town of Llanelli is probably best known for its rugby and the town is also at the centre of the production of tinplate. During the middle part of the twentieth century the town was actually one of the largest towns in the world where more than the half of the population spoke a Celtic language.

The town of Llanelli is surrounded by a number of small communities and villages and these areas make up the rural part of Llanelli.

The town and the surrounding area are home to a range of manufacturing companies and these include Dyfed Steels and Corus. The performance centre for Technium Engineering was opened within the outskirts of the town and this centre serves the motorsport, automotive and also the aerospace sectors.

The more traditional industries have declined within the town over the years and the local government responded to this by promoting development within the town. The developments within the town included the golf course, the new retail parks and also the coastal park. The coastal park was a very good idea as it attracts a large number of tourists every year.

The town has a strong educational network that is made up of two primary schools one of which is a Welsh school and the other one is an English school. There are also two secondary schools one of which is a Welsh School. There is also a special school within the town that teaches children with disabilities.
