The welsh town of Llanelli is located within the Carmarthenshire County. The town is located on the banks of the Western coast of Wales. The town of Llanelli is located about ten miles North West of the area of Swansea and about twelve miles to the south east of the town of Carmarthen.

The more traditional industries have declined within the town over the years and the local government responded to this by promoting development within the town. The town has a strong educational network that is made up of two primary schools one of which is a Welsh school and the other one is an English school.
