The English town of Knutsford is located within the county of Cheshire. The town of Knutsford is also a civil parish. The town operates under the control of the Cheshire East and the ceremonial area of Cheshire County. The town of Knutsford is located to the south west of Manchester and to the north west of Macclesfield.

The town of Knutsford is located within the Cheshire Plain and this area is very famous for its picturesque countryside and the lovely little towns and villages that surround the area. The town of Knutsford is a very popular location for people that are dining out, as there is a vast array of bars and restaurants.

At the far end of the narrow street that is known as King Street there is the entrance to Tatton Park. The tatton estate was once the home for the Egerton family and this name was given top the parliamentary constituency.

There is a vast number of events that take place in and around the town every year and these include festivities on May Day, the RHS flower show at Tatton Park and also within the Parish of Tabley which is near the town of Knutsford the Cheshire County Show is held annually. The annual May Day festivities that operate annually attract hundreds of people every year and they parade through the local streets and they also crown a May Queen.

During 2005 the town of Knutsford was named as one of the most expensive town in which to purchase a house and the next most expensive town is Altrincham.
