Inveraray holds the privilege of being a former Royal Burgh. It is located on the western shore of the famous Lake Fyne in Scotland. Inverarey is fairly easily accessible through roads. It is a comparatively new town as compared to the other British towns as it was developed in the late 18th century.
The architect has tried to give a distinctive look to the town by using white bricks in all the major buildings. White shining buildings make the town a heaven for photographers who get excellent views of the newly built buildings.
There are number of attractions for tourists which include Argyll Folk Museum. Although the town itself doesn't carry a history that spans hundreds of years but still the museum ensures that the visitors get enough information about the region in form of artifacts.
The other interesting museum is the Maritime Heritage house which itself is based on a sailing ship. This unique setting makes it attractive for young and adult visitors. Inveraray has the privilege to host one of the heaviest bells present in the world, and often tourists visit the town to have a look at the unique bell. The bell is located in the bell tower, and hundreds of tourists visit the site to take the photographs and to enjoy a day out at this recreational point. Inveraray has the reputation of having one of the finest restaurants that are situated along each and every tourist attraction which helps in meeting the needs of the visitors.
