Accommodation

Each of the four cosy bedrooms available at the Inn feature standard facilities - a colour television, hairdryer, trouser press and courtesy tray - in addition to en-suite bathrooms.

Large families, groups, or guests desiring more privacy, may wish to consider renting a separate luxury cottage.

This superb cottage, with a past dating back to approximately 1700, was originally a coach house attached to the Inn. The coach men rested in the hay loft whilst the travellers stayed at the Inn.

Today, the cottage will accommodate up to 6 guests, making it attractive to large families and groups, or those guests desiring a little more privacy.

Included in the rent is:-
The cost of fuel for the open fire and oil central heating
The first £10 electricity - the remainder is charged according to a meter reading.

The use of a cot, high chair, stairgate, 2 colour televisions, a video, a washing machine, a microwave and patio furniture.

On the ground floor of this charming period property, in addition to the shower room with toilet and basin and the utility room, can be found:

A lounge which is splendidly decorated with exposed stone, beams and an open fire. The sofa can be converted into a bed overnight, providing sleeping facilities for 2 adults or children. A spacious kitchen/diner which, in addition to the usual electrical appliances, features a microwave and a washing machine. On the first floor are the main sleeping areas. Both the double bedroom and the twin bedroom have an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath, a toilet and a sink. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Food

Our restaurant offers informal dining with a varied selection of dishes all of which are created using only the finest seasonal, local organic produce.

We welcome guests with special dietary requirements indeed our vegetarian meals are a speciality.

Cwmduad nestles in the valley of the Teifi River which meanders through historic Newcstle Emlyn, Cenarth with its famous falls and the old market town of Cardigan, where it joins the beautiful Cardigan Bay known for its seals and dolphins.

A short journey from the village will enable you to enjoy breathtaking scenery at the spectacular beaches of Tenby and Saundersfoot and along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. You may prefer to travel to the Preseli Mountains, the Heritage Centre or, the National park of the Brecon Beacons.

In nearby Llanarthne is a special Millennium development in the form of the National Botanical Gardens of Wales - the first major botanic garden in the U.K. for over a century.

Take a step back in time at the museum of the Welsh Woollen Industry, or take a trip to Laugharne - renowned worldwide for its association with Dylan Thomas.

The bustling county town of Carmarthen with its shops, museums, theatre and leisure centre is just 8 miles away.
