For historic buildings, there’s Castle Howard and Burton Agness Hall.
There’s the contrasting landscapes of the Yorkshire Wolds, the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales. With easy access to the East Coast.
For sightseeing or shopping there’s the ancient City of York and the equally historic town of Beverley - both 20 minutes drive from the motel. Then of course there is Pocklington, only a mile away and well worth a visit - particularly on a Tuesday which is market day.
