![]() Yew Tree is a working farm of 77 acres, located in beautiful unspoilt countryside, overlooking the Peak District Hills. Guests are invited to look around and get to know the farm animals and wide range of pets. There are wonderful walks from the doorstep. Forget everyday pressures. | The style is relaxed county-cottage, with comfortable furnishings, and a warm friendly atmosphere. Guests have access at all times and have their own entrance. The cosy residents lounge has a colour television and an open fire for the cooler evenings. Visitors are requested not to smoke in the house. The two en suite bedrooms are both tastefully decorated, one double and one triple. They have clock radios; facilities for hot drinks and are centrally heated. The generous breakfast and traditional evening meals are prepared to a high standard using fresh local produce - Wincle Trout, Yew Tree beef and lamb are constantly on the menu - a true taste of the country! Special diets are also catered for. ![]() This is the ideal base from which to visit the Potteries, Alton Towers, the magnificent historic houses of Cheshire and Derbyshire, and enjoy the scenic beauty of the Peak District. | Directions Yew Tree Farm is easy to find. If approaching from the North or South turn off the M6 motorway at junction 17. Travel to Congleton and take the A536 towards Macclesfield road. After about 3 miles turn right at the sign for North Rode. Turn left in between the church and nursery school. Pass through two stone gate posts, and then keep right into the farmyard. Guests have their own car park. ![]() |
