| Wydon Farm is a 366 acre working farm, on the National Trust Bellister estate. Luxurious barn conversion accommodating three rooms all en-suite one with 4 poster bed and whirlpool bath. Each room has hospitality tray, colour TV with DVD, clock radio, hairdryer and fridge. Traditional breakfast is served in the farm house. Why not collect eggs for your breakfast from our free range hens! Wydon farm is an ideal base for touring Hadrian's wall and the English border country. We are within walking distance of Haltwhistle the centre of Britain with local shops and historic buildings. Wydon farm sits on the banks of the river South Tyne, one of the best salmon rivers in England. Footpaths and a bridle way run through the farm yard and Sustrans cycle way runs through the farm yard and Sustrans cycle way runs through part of the farm.   LUXURIOUS BARN CONVERSION 3 Bedrooms - all with en-suite 2 family rooms 1 luxurious double with four poster and whirlpool bath Each room is furnished to a high standard and has: Colour TV and DVD Tea and Coffee facilities Central heating Fridge Clock radio WILLOW ROOM: Double with four poster bed and whirlpool bath PRIMROSE ROOM: Family room king size bed plus single and rollaway BLUEBELL ROOM: Family room king size bed plus single and rollaway The names of these comfortable rooms have been chosen because we have a Bluebell wood on the farm and a Primrose valley. Willow was chosen because Wydon originally meant Willow dean. Why not arrange pick up from station with John or Linda. By Road Travel west along the A69 from Newcastle to Haltwhistle, bypass Haltwhistle and turn left on to the A689 to Alston immediately turn right over cattle grid Wydon Farm is aprox ½ mile up lane. |
