Our home has been carefully renovated over 20 years to keep all its period features while it offers a high standard of modern comfort including full central heating, electric blankets, television and hospitality trays in every room and WiFi for the modern traveller. We offer a full breakfast menu and will cook to your individual requirements - or make sure a special favourite or dietary requirement is waiting for you. The atmosphere in our home is relaxed and friendly - we love chatting to guests but will respect your privacy. Our one acre garden is a joy to all. There are arbours and sitting places as well as a summerhouse, waterfall and large formal pool. You are welcome to share it with us. The Calderdale Way and Bronte Way both go through Shelf and we have a library of walks books and maps for this area with its wonderful Pennine hills and gentler canal and heritage walks. The Bronte Parsonage Museum is just over the hill and the delights of the Victorian arcades in Leeds are a short drive away. Tariff £30 per person per night.
