|Wisteria Corner Bed and Breakfast is just a 3 minute walk from the heart of the historic citadel of Rye, with its rich history, quaint cobbled streets, ancient buildings, cosy pubs and restaurants and unique little shops. Rye train station is also only a 3 minute walk away.|

Lovely walks can be started from our B&B. After a few minutes strolling along the next to the river Tillingham you can enjoy the beautiful views across fields, meandering rivers and valleys to the sea.
Visit nearby beaches such as Camber Sands and unique and beautiful nature reserves such as the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. Relax and enjoy the idyllic and peaceful countryside surrounding Rye or visit castles, gardens and the many other attractions that the area has to offer.

All our bedrooms are individual and have a homely atmosphere. We have a double room and a twin room, both with full en-suite facilities and complimentary toiletries.
Each room has its own digital television/DVD player, fridge, radio, hair dryers and tea and coffee making facility with a good selection of teas, coffee's and toffees.
You will find a selection of brochures and leaflets with local information, guides and walks in each guest room.
Free off road parking.
Washing and drying facility available on request.
Iron and ironing board are available on request.
Fluent German spoken.

It comprises of an open plan room with a concertina wall dividing kitchen/dining area and sleeping area and an en-suite shower room with toilet and wash basin. (size of unit approximately 21 square meters)
In the sleeping area there is a double bed, and easy chair, digital TV/DVD player and video player.
No towels supplied
Usually there is street parking available in the quiet cul de sac "Tillingham Avenue" alongside or very close to the owner's property.

Rye is located close to England's south coast to the east of Hastings. It is 67 miles (107km) from London and 35 miles (56km) from Dover. Access from the nearest motorway is via junction 10 of the M20 at Ashford.
How to find us by road in Rye
There are 4 mains roads out of Rye. Follow the signposts B2089 in direction Battle. (Ferry Road in on the B2089). You will approach a railway crossing where you can see the Rye train station to your right and the windmill to your left. After crossing the railway you will find us about 100 yards down this road on the right hand side. "At Wisteria Corner" is at the corner of Tillingham Avenue.
Rye Station is situated on the Southern Service line connecting Ashford and Brighton. Trains operate in both directions approximately every hour during the day. There are connections at Ashford International Station to London Charing Cross, Victoria and the Eurostar. There are connections at Hastings to Brighton, Gatwick Airport and London. Our B&B is situated only a 3 minute walk from the Rye railway station.
Rye is within easy reach (about 1 hours drive) by road from Dover. Folkestone (for the Euro tunnel terminal) is approximately 30-45 minutes away.
The nearest major international airport to Rye is London Gatwick, which is 56 miles (89km) away. The journey by road take approximately 1 ½ hours.
