With wonderful views over open countryside is the White Cottage. Situated conveniently between J13 and J14 of M1 within easy reach of Milton Keynes 6 miles for shopping, Xscape ski slopes and activities, theatre and restaurants, Bletchley Park (code breaking during the war) and The Stables Theatre at Wavendon.
The Georgian town of Woburn is 6 miles away, and has excellent restaurants, pubs and antique shops. Woburn Abbey, Woburn Safari Park and Woburn Golf and Country Club. Nearby are the Ampthill, Millbrook Proving Ground, Cranfield University and Cranfield Innovation Centre.

Whether you are a businessman looking for a 2nd home during the week or having a welcome break, John and Di will do their utmost to make your stay as comfortable and relaxed as possible, with a big measure of professionalism.
There is a large comfortable guests lounge where you can relax with a drink or tray of tea or coffee.
It has doors opening onto the patio and beautiful landscaped gardens of over an acre of formal gardens and lawns. Sky TV in lounge, wireless Broadband is available in both the cottage and annex.
John is an excellent chef. Evening meals are available Monday to Friday, main course only, 7 - 8.30pm, and are served in the dining room where there is also a TV. |
All rooms are en-suite attractive and individual with TV, welcome tray with tea/coffee and a hairdryer etc.
The annex has a kitchenette with a microwave, fridge and toaster etc. Leading from here are a double and single bedroom, both en-suite.This is ideal for a family or can have single occupancy when available. Very private with its own large car park.
2 Large Car Parks. No smoking, evening meals, credit cards accepted, not American express or Diners card - small charge. |

Thank you for making our stay brilliant. We only stayed wth you for one night but you made us feel really at home and welcome. The annex was perfect. Lovely comfortable bed, with everything we could have neede. You thought of everything. The best breakfast we have had in a guest house cooked to perfection. We will definately stay with you again.

Location
From M1 Junction 13
From the M1, J13 follow signs for A421 to Bedford for 4 miles. At roundabout (Little Chef on LHS) turn left(signposted for Cranfield) into Beancroft Road. In 1 mile there is a T junction, turn left into Marston Hill andtravel for 1/4 mile. The White Cottage is the first cottage on RHS. There is a large gravel car park just before the cottage and another car park further up the hill beside the annex.
From M1 Junction 14
From the M1, J14 follow the signs A509 Newport Pagnell and in 100 yards turn right for Moulsoe and Cranfield. Follow road through Moulsoe to the roundabout at Cranfield Technology Park. Go straight over T junction and then turn left towards Cranfield. Go straight through Cranfield and stay on this road, which is Marston Hill. You will pass a black and white tudor style house on your right at the bend, a field on your LHS then you will see a white rendered building with a circular window near the eves.
Pass this and the White Cottage is next on the left with a gravel area to park.
From A1
From A1, take A421 NR Wyboston or A603 from Sandy, which meets the A421. Stay on A421 - dual carriageway - following signs for M1. You will go over a roundabout with Asda Distribution and Argos Direct premises on your left. Stay on A421. In 4 miles dual carriageway for ¼ mile, roundabout with Little Chef and petrol station. Turn right towards Cranfield - in 1 mile T junction turn left into Marston Hill. The White Cottage is the first cottage on your right - ½ way up the hill. There is a large gravelled car park just before the cottage. |
