| David and Sarah Murray welcome you to Whitebridge Hotel amid the foothills of the Monadhliath Mountains approximately 3 miles from Loch Ness in the Highlands of Scotland. For further information about the Hotel and its 12 en-suite rooms, great food, cosy bars and restaurant, as well as the surrounding area, please come inside! Whitebridge is a long established Highland Hotel, built in 1899 on the site of a King's House which was destroyed by fire some years before. A King's House was a hostelry used by the soldiers while in a specific area. This King's House was used by the soldiers of General Wade while they were stationed in the Highlands. Building roads was one of the troops duties, and you can still see the original bridge built here in the 18th Century. The proprietors David and Sarah welcome you to Whitebridge Hotel where an atmosphere of comfort and quiet goes hand in hand with traditional character. Guests may be assured of a high degree of personal attention. The hotel has stunning views of the magnificent Monadhliath Mountains. Excellent brown trout fishing is available in the area. The area abounds with wildlife and is a haven for bird-watchers and naturalists alike. Pony trekking, riding, boat trips, golf and a host of other activities are available in and around the area. Every October, the Loch Ness Marathon starts about a mile south of the hotel and the colourful mass of runners race past the door to the finish in Inverness. The hotel has 12 en-suite rooms all with TV and tea/coffee making facilities. We welcome well behaved dogs. The wireless network is available in all rooms. We are passionate about minimising the environmental impact of the hotel. You may be interested to read our GREEN POLICY |
