A warm welcome awaits you at the Viking Guest House, a family run bed and breakfast in the pretty Kent seaside town of Broadstairs. We are situated in a quiet location only a two minute walk from the sea front and sandy beaches and a further short walk to the numerous shops, bars and restaurants that our town has to offer.
Bed and Breakfast With Private Bathrooms
All of our spacious and tastefully decorated bedrooms have en-suite or private bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, a remote control television, clock radio and a hair dryer. We are sure that you will find our rooms some of the most comfortable available in the Broadstairs area. For our guests who like to stay connected we have installed a Wi-Fi service throughout our property. All of our rooms have gained a four star rating from Enjoy England.

Guest House Information
The Viking Guest House is a family owned bed and breakfast run by Christine and Tony. Located in a quiet street in Broadstairs only 200 yards from a large sandy beach. Our accommodation allows for a relaxing nights sleep whilst being within walking distance of all the shops, bars and restaurants of this pretty town. All of our rooms are kept clean and tidy and the price of your stay includes a hearty breakfast to start your day off well. We hope you will enjoy your stay with us.
The prices are inclusive of the cost of the room plus a cooked breakfast including cereals, fruit juices and yoghurts. Vegetarians are happily catered for.
To confirm your booking we require a deposit equal to the first nights accommodation. This can be paid by either Cheque made payable to Viking Guest House or by Debit or Credit Card. This should reach us within seven days of making your booking or prior to arrival which ever comes soonest. We will confirm your booking by either letter or email and advise you of your outstanding balance which is due on departure.
The following forms of payment will be accepted. These are Cash, cheque with Bankers Card, Credit and Debit Cards. We do not accept American Express or Diners Club Cards.
Families and children are welcome but unfortunately we do not accept pets.

All of the rooms in our guest house are warm, comfortable and clean. Our guest rooms are furnished to a high quality and feature en-suite or private bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, a remote control television, clock radio and a hair dryer. Your bathroom is stocked with a range of complimentary toiletries. All of our prices include your choice of breakfast from our selection of cooked foods, cereals and fruit.

Directions
The Viking Guest House is situated in Broadstairs, Kent approximately 200 yards from the sandy beaches at Viking Bay and Louisa Bay. You can reach us by road or rail.
Find us by road
From the M2 follow the signs to Broadstairs via the A299 past Manston Airport. Continue on the A256 past the golf driving range to Westward Cross shopping centre. Continue over the roundabouts and past the Vauxhall garage on your right. Once over the roundabout, turn immediately right down Rumsfield Road passing the large water tower on your left. Continue over the next roundabout onto Bronston Road and then over the next roundabout onto the A255 Ramsgate Road. You will pass Thanet College on your right and then take the next right turn into West Cliff Road. Then turn left into West Cliff Avenue and we can be seen on the right hand side with the Viking Guest House sign outside our premises.

Local Attractions
There are many places to visit in Broadstairs and the Isle of Thanet. Here are some places we think are worth mentioning.
There are two great sandy beaches within walking distance of our guest house. The main town beach is the most popular and features some attractions for the children. The second beach is quieter with a more rural feel and is perfect for long lazy days next to the sea.
The Dickens Museum
The Dickens House Museum, based on the seafront in Broadstairs celebrates the association Charles Dickens had with the town.
Mini Golf Course
Budding Tiger Woods can hone their skills on the local mini golf course. Just a short walk from the guest house and fun for all the family.
Broadstairs has been voted runner up as the best seaside town in Britain in 2007 by the Guardian newspaper.
