Be our guest. Relax and enjoy hotel standards of comfort in the personal, friendly atmosphere of a small guesthouse enviously located just a few yards from beach and marina, yet only a short level walk from the town centre and railway station.

You can stroll along the promenade and maybe on into the town for morning coffee and some shipping. Watch the hustle and bustle of the marina, take one of the many boat trips, catch a bus or train and visit the historic cathedral city of Exeter or explore the beautiful Devon countryside.

Your Evening Meal

Many hotels and guesthouses in Exmouth are ceasing to provide an evening meal as a result of the growing tendency for guest to book Bed and Breakfast and to eat out in the evenings. For such guests, Exmouth has a food selection of pubs and restaurants chartering for most tastes - English, Italian, Indian and Chinese - and all within easy walking distance of the guesthouse.

However, for those weekly guests who prefer to dine in we continue to offer a traditional British home cooked meal with such favourites as Roast Beef, home cooked Gammon with parsley sauce and steak & mushroom cobbler, each with a British pudding (bread & butter pudding, treacle sponge, old fashioned rice pudding, etc) followed by your choice of tea or coffee.

Exmouth

Acknowledged as one of the most beautiful in Britain, the Exe estuary abounds in bird life, including Sandpipers and rare Avocets. Tantalising glimpses of castles and riverside villages abound and the sunsets are spectacular. Exmouth, at the estuary's mouth, marks the Western Gateway of the World Heritage Coastline. Despite being one of England's oldest holiday towns, it has escaped brash commercialism.

Exmouth has two miles of golden sand and elegant Georgian architecture. One of the real joys of Exmouth is that it is possible to enjoy the best of the traditional beach holiday and also engage in a wide range of activities, entertainment and nature - all on one's doorstep with Exeter a short and scenic train-ride away. Woodbury Common is nearby, as is historic, Dutch-gabled Topsham and Lympstone, a picture-book fishing village.
