| Eileen, Kenny and their son Alan would like to welcome you to their home. We are situated in the quiet village of East Ord which is about 1 mile south of the historic town of Berwick upon Tweed. The village has a shop/post office which stocks a wide variety of goods. There is also a garden centre which is very popular and has many plants, gifts, a farm shop and restaurant. We also have a pub where you enjoy a very good freshly cooked meal while sampling one of the real ales. The caravan park a short walk from our house also serves food, apparently huge portions, and non residents are welcome. Our house is at the top of the village green and has wonderful views over the green and farmland towards Halidon Hill. This is the site of an historic battle. There is a viewpoint on the hill and on a clear day you can see Bamburgh Castle to the south. To the west you can see the magnificent Cheviot Hills and on to Duns. |
