A warm welcome awaits you at Tregarth Homestay Bed & Breakfast. - Situated at the entrance to the spectacular Nant Ffrancon Pass in the foothills of Snowdonia, North Wales.

The elevated setting affords beautiful views of the mountains, the Menai Straight, Anglesey and Puffin Island.

It is ideally situated, being in a quiet rural location on the edge of a small village, yet just two miles from the A55 Expressway and the A5. There is something for everyone within easy reach!

A host of outdoor activities can be experienced near Tregarth, from gentle walking to mountaineering and water sports. There are a number of footpaths and cycle tracks on our doorstep.

Snowdon - The highest mountain in England and Wales - is only 20 minutes by car. For something more leisurely, take the famous Snowdon Mountain Railway from Llanberis!

About Tregarth Homestay

Kathleen & Peter Coleman have been in the hospitality business since 1996 and have the Welcome Host Gold Award. They experienced the 'homestay' concept in Australia and New Zealand. "The idea is to welcome guests into our home as friends and be available to spend time with them if they so wish".

Directions

Road At junction 11 of the A55 (with the A5), take the Betwys y Coed exit then immediately turn right on the A4244 signed Llanberis. The Little Chef is on your right. Take the next left (½ mile) B4409 signed Tregarth. Drive up the hill into Tregarth Village (1 mile). Beware of the bends. As you enter the village, there is a large chapel on your right named Shiloh. Our road (DOB) is the 3rd turning on the right after this chapel, before the pub. Drive up DOB to the top and Llain y Grug is the modern split-level house on your RIGHT past the tall hedge.

Train BANGOR is an intercity station, with direct train services to/from London Euston, Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff and Holyhead, and connections to the rest of Britain.

- Only 20 minutes away, we will be happy to make station pickups.

Bus BANGOR - National Express Bus Station has services daily to London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Leeds.

Air Manchester & Liverpool Airports are 1½ hrs by car.

Ferry Holyhead's fast ferry service to and from Dublin is easily accessible via the A55 Expressway.

Terms & Conditions - Cancellation Policy :

Provided that notice of cancellation is received by us at least 48 hrs before you are due to arrive, we will attempt to re-let your room(s). If this is unsuccessful then we will hold your deposit as a credit against a future visit starting within 12 months of the original date.
