Enjoy the relaxed informal atmosphere that awaits you when you visit the beautiful historic Tower House built in 1750.With views overlooking the Kent and Sussex Weald the 18th Century Georgian home is tastefully furnished. The eccentric Victorian Tower is one of Tenterdens Landmarks.  Far reaching views from the rear of The Tower, overlooking the High Weald. Visitors are spoilt by the picturesque tree lined High Street where you can hunt among the many quirky antique shops, browse the unique choice of small independent shops and boutiques, followed by a traditional treat in an old English tea room. Tenterden even boasts its own Kent and East Sussex steam railway, offering trip to The National Trust Bodiam Castle.
The large romantic double bedroom is furnished to a high standard, with designer wallpaper an iron bed with crisp white bedding and a crunch quilt. The bedroom offers a comfortable sitting area in which to relax with tea and coffee from the hospitality tray.  Find fluffy towels and toiletries to pamper yourself after a seriously refreshing shower.  Relax in the Sunny Georgian Dining room. Where you will be served a delicious breakfast cooked, simply using the freshest of locally sourced ingredients where possible on the much loved AGA. When available ingredients from our vegetable garden will be served.  Guests are invited to enjoy the peaceful walled gardens where tea can be enjoyed under the ancient Mulberry Tree, or in the pretty gazebo.  Mike and Pippa pride themselves on attention to detail and are happy to help you discover the many fabulous gardens, historic homes and Castles the area has to offer. The Tower house is the perfect base from which to discover the romantic Gardens such as Sissinghurst, Great Dixter, Pashly Manor, Leeds Castle and Smallhythe Place.
