Our elegant 1920's home has three delightful and spacious bedrooms, two with four-poster beds, one with a balcony, and one twin/super-king bedroom; all bedrooms overlook beautiful views to Rye and green fields to Camber Castle and Rye Harbour Nature Reserve to the sea and are equipped to a standard expected of a luxury bed and breakfast. The en suite bathrooms are spacious with both bath and shower over.
Take a walk through our terraced garden to join the 1066 Country walk or just sit and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside and the views.

Our delightful bedrooms are large and individually decorated to a high standard, all have stunning far reaching views. The en-suite bathrooms are spacious and have both bath and shower over.
Castle Viewis a bright and sunny Twin-bedded room with dual aspect overlooking the gardens. If guests prefer this bed can be arranged as super-king size (min 2 nights)
Winchelsea Viewis traditionally decorated with a King-size Four-poster bed and has its own balcony with table and chairs.
Rye Viewis calm and romantically styled with a double four-poster bed.
A traditional English breakfast is served at individual tables in the oak paneled dining room with a cosy fire in winter. With our Sussex breakfasts including many local sourced ingredients together with homemade bread and preserves, you will feel fully at home and able to relax and enjoy this fascinating corner of England.
Whether you enjoy history or are a nature-lover, you will find plenty to see and do in the surrounding "1066 Country" with its origins in the Battle of Hastings. Many tourist attractions, gardens and English Heritage sites are within a short distance of "The Rise" and the nature reserves of Dungeness and Rye Harbour are also close by. Well-planned walks and cycle rides are available and there is safe storage for motorcycles and bicycles, local cycle hire can be arranged for you in advance.
Siutated just six minutes walk from the centre of town and with private parking on the drive. "The Rise" provides easy access to many of Rye's famous old Inns and Restaurants.
