This large and elegant 1920's home has delightful, sunny and spacious en-suite bedrooms all overlooking beautiful views across green fields to Camber Castle and Rye Harbour Nature Reserve to the Sea.
Take a walk through our terraced garden to join the 1066 Country walk or just sit and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside and the views.
Bedrooms
Our delightful bedrooms are large and individually decorated to a high standard, all have stunning far reaching views. The en-suite bathrooms are spacious and have both bath and shower over.
Room 1is a bright and sunny Twin-bedded room with dual aspect overlooking the gardens. If guests prefer this bed can be arranged as super-king size (min 2 nights)
Room 2is traditionally decorated with a King-size Four-poster bed and has its own balcony with table and chairs.
Room 3is calm and romantically styled with a double four-poster bed.
Colour televisions with freeview, clock/radios, hairdryers, hospitality trays, magazines and bathroom toiletries all add to guest's comfort.
A traditional English Breakfast is served at individual tables in the oak paneled breakfast room. With a log fire in cold weather, and a comfortable seating area with magazines and brochures on local information, you will feel fully at home and able to relax and enjoy this beautiful and fascinating corner of South East England.
Whether you enjoy history or are a nature-lover, you will find plenty to see and do in the surrounding "1066 Country" with its origins in the Battle of Hastings. Many tourist attractions, gardens and English Heritage sites are within a short distance of "The Rise" and the nature reserves of Dungeness and Rye Harbour are also close by. Well-planned walks and cycle rides are available and there is safe storage for motorcycles and bicycles, local cycle hire can be arranged for you in advance.
Siutated just six minutes walk from the centre of town and with private parking on the drive. "The Rise" provides easy access to many of Rye's famous old Inns and Restaurants.
