| Welcome to The New Inn The New Inn is an attractive 16th century coaching Inn just 4 miles from Ross on Wye, 10 miles from Hereford and 9 miles from Monmouth. Its perfect for meeting colleagues, placating the family or entertaining friends, whether in the lounge bar, dining room or garden. The lounge bar and dining room are enhanced during the colder months with huge inglenook fireplaces which crackle to the sound of burning logs. Recently refurbished but retaining a mixture of furnishings from settles to redundant pews, the ambience is that of a time gone by, a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but with the quality and standard you would come to expect. Fabulous fresh food, including and our "All day breakfast", great wine by the glass, real ales, local ciders and perrys and a friendly welcome awaits you from our team. We are open from 11am and serve food and drink all day and are completely no smoking. The Inn has been under the caring eye of Nigel and Teé Maud since February 2006 during which time a transformation has taken place. Completely refurbished throughout including the bar, lounge, bedrooms, a new kitchen extension and redesigned garden for the new "Alfresco Dining Experience". The New Inn offers excellent food and drink and has enjoys a good diary of events throughout the year including Jazz, Music Nights, Fish Nights & BBQ's. 2008 has been the most rewarding so far with the pub being named "Midlands Family Pub of the Year" and in October gained recognition as "Winner of Best Pub 2008" as well as gaining "Highly Commended for Breakfast of the Year 2008" in the Flavours of Herefordshire Awards - We are officially the best pub in Herefordshire !! |    |
  | Accommodation The Inn has two rooms - The Oak suite is a very spacious beamed suite with a four-poster bed and antique furniture. The suite includes a full en-suite bathroom and WC. Uniquely, it has its own lounge and dining area where guests who prefer to take their meals in private can relax in comfort. Further beds can be added for children. The Hentland Room is a well appointed double room en suite with a four-poster bed, easy chairs, antique draws and chests. For your comfort each room offers,
