The Larches is a family-run Bed and Breakfast in Horsham. We offer homely, comfortable accomodation to visitors coming to Horsham to see friends and family; to visit Sussex and London; to work, or to stay for longer periods.
The Larches is a large Edwardian house and has always been a family home. We do our best to offer our visitors a warm welcome and pleasant stay here. Our guests often tell us that there is a 'home away from home' feeling, which pleases us very much. |
The Larches has been the family home of Jane and Eric Lane since 1978. We began to offer bed and breakfast as our young family departed and over the years The Larches has attracted a wide range of guests, many of whom have been returning regularly, which brings us a lot of satisfaction. We have enjoyed welcoming visitors from all over the world. Our guests often include business people who are working in and around the Horsham area. At weekends and holidays we regularly provide accomodation for guests who are attending family gatherings and wedding parties. As grandparents we like to make children feel welcome in the house.

Single non en-suite - £35* per night inc. breakfast
Twin or double en-suite - £65* per night for 2 people inc. breakfast
Family en-suite - £75* for 3 people and £80* for 4 people inc. breakfast (inc. at least one child).
*Bookings for ONE NIGHT only. There is a supplement of £3 per person per night for stays of only one night.
There is a separate toilet and a separate shower room for the single non en-suite.
Upon booking we require a confirmation letter or email and a deposit cheque. Deposits are non-refundable unless we receive at least 24 hours notice of cancellation.
All payments are to be by cash or cheque as unfortunately we do not accept credit or debit cards.
Our aim has always been to make our guests feel as comfortable as possible when staying with us. The facilities we provide are designed to offer all the home comforts needed. All rooms have:
fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, plates, cutlery, cups, glasses, hair dryer
complimentary tea tray with tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits
television - with Freeview and VCR player. DVD player available on request
WiFi - for ease of internet access
We also offer an iron and ironing board and the shower room has a washing machine and tumble dryer, which guests are welcome to use.
The Larches has ample off-street parking and a separate entrance for guests so that you can come and go freely. |
We like to offer you the meal you prefer - to prepare you for a busy working day or a nice, relaxing meal at the weekend or for those on holiday. Along with the full freshly cooked English breakfast available, we always have a selection of cereals and fresh fruit, fruit juice, yoghurt and coffee and a choice of teas.
We do our best to cater for any special dietary requirements you may have and welcome vegetarians.

Breakfasts are available downstairs in our dining room from about 7.30 to 8.30 weekdays and until 9.30 at weekends. If you prefer breakfast in your room, we can provide you with cereals and milk and/or bread for toasting and jam, etc. |
| There is a side entrance to the house which guests can use for extra convenience - so there's no problem if you need to leave early for work or for a flight or if you want to come back late after a wedding reception. (So long as you come and go quietly!) |
The Larches is a non-smoking house.
Normally rooms are available from 12 noon and must be vacated by 11am, although we can look after luggage until later in the day.
If you require earlier access this can generally be arranged with prior notice. |
