| Welcome to the Queens Hotel The Queens Hotel in Girvan, Ayrshire, is centrally located, a 2 minute walk from the high street. The welcoming, friendly staff will strive to meet your requirements and requests as quickly as possible. Step into a magnificent, bright and airy reception area designed with natural wood floors and original artefacts giving a luxurious yet uncluttered appearance. The hotel has been under the same ownership and management since 2003, during which time a huge amount of work has been undertaken to bring the interior up to the extremely high standard it is in today, with sumptuous furnishings throughout and beautifully tiled en suite bathrooms. We come highly recommended locally and have a number of guests who, both on business and holiday, return on a regular basis. |  |

| Rooms The hotel boasts a total of nine bedrooms in all and offers a choice of single or twin rooms, double rooms with four poster bed, and family rooms. All are en-suite and have recently been refitted to a very high standard. There is a walled beer garden to the rear of the hotel for al fresco dining when the weather permits, which is very popular, and barbecues are often held here in the Summer. Occasionally there is live entertainment at weekends in the Bar or Lounge, and the hotel also offers a 70 seater function room which is available for use at no extra charge for all special events. Catering can be provided if desired at additional cost and you should contact us to discuss your requirements for this service. |

| Location Girvan is situated on the West coast of Scotland, around 20 miles South of Ayr and 30 miles North of Stranraer. The A77 runs directly through Girvan and the world famous Turnberry Golf Course is about 5 miles North of the town. A regular bus service runs to Ayr via Turnberry. Recreational facilities in the town include an indoor swimming pool, boating lake, putting green, children's play areas, amusement arcades, parks, and a golf course. An example of Girvan's proud historical architecture, The Queens Hotel, recently renovated and revamped, has every ingredient essential for a seaside resort - location, comfort, and entertainment. The Queens is a mere stone's throw from all local amenities and just 5 minutes walk from the sandy beach. When arriving in Girvan on the A77 from the North, Montgomerie Street is the first turn on the left after the railway station. We are on the right hand side about 150 yards along, almost opposite the Police Station. |
