Welcome to our lovely 200 year old home and Bed and Breakfast near Chichester and Goodwood in West Sussex. It was once the village bakery and shop, but now you can relax in its beamed bedrooms, enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast in our delightful breakfast room, (where years ago people came to buy their groceries), or enjoy a pot of tea in the garden.
We offer seven bedrooms, each recently decorated and with its own character. Each room has an en-suite shower room and all home comforts. What else would you expect from a Guest House that is recommended by The Good Hotel Guide 2010, and featured in the Escape! supplement of the Observer newspaper (November 2005).

The Bed and Breakfast has seven bedrooms, each recently decorated and with its own distinctive character. Each room has an en-suite shower room and all the comforts that you would expect in a Bed and Breakfast that is recommended in The Good Hotel Guide, and in the Escape! supplement of the Observer newspaper.
You can relax and unwind in one of the beamed bedrooms and enjoy a cup of tea of coffee (with fresh milk, not those annoying little UHT cartons!) whilst watching your favourite television or radio programmes. You will find yourself in lovely West Sussex, amid the South Downs, The Goodwood Estate, quiet woodland, picturesque harbours and pretty villages and towns including Chichester, Petworth, Arundel, Halnaker and Boxgrove.
At The Old Store Guest House you rise to the fresh smell of coffee and the aroma of a Traditional English Breakfast or choose delicious scrambled eggs and salmon on English muffins, or bacon and maple syrup on pancakes, for a change!

You will find yourself in lovely West Sussex, amid the South Downs, quiet woodland, picturesque harbours and pretty villages and towns. For wedding guests, we are only 5 miles from Upwaltham Barns, and 1 mile from Goodwood House and the Goodwood Park Hotel. Stately homes, museums, Chichester Festival Theatre and the seaside beckon. There is so much to explore! |
