| The old rectory is situated next to the village Church, within a five minute walk of the five miles of Golden sandy beach. This is an ideal base from which to explore local places of interest that include, Cheddar Caves, Wookey Hole, Secret World, Animal Farm. The area is also ideal for Fishing and with both Golf and Swimming available with a 10 minute walk. Horse riding can also be enjoyed within 1 mile. |

It remains almost unchanged for the last 100 years, with the original stone walls and gateway leading to the steps down to the back door and Kitchen. There is an arched doorway into the garden matching Perpendicular style of the Church. Over the years the most significant change has been to the building to the right of the entrance. The Schoolroom, Stables and the Carriage house have all been turned into neat holiday bed and breakfast homes. |
