Recently refurbished, the Garlieston prides itself on your comfort and enjoyment. We are centrally located and nearby to many facilities and shops, and provide guides to what is available and where you can find it. Travelling too and from the Garlieston is easy from Avenue Road and the nearby SeaFront Road, and we're ideally located to explore Torbay and beyond. Broadband Internet Television All of our guest rooms are equipped with the latest broadband internet television systems giving you access to 30+ Freeview channels, broadband internet and DVD entertainment. And through our webportal, you have access to a wealth of local information and can order goods and services.
Garlieston Guest Bedrooms There are 3 doubles and 1 twin bedroom in the Garlieston. The bedrooms have either full en-suite or private facilities with shower, remote control broadband internet, Freeview television, clock radio, electric fan, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer. They are fully carpeted, comfortably furnished, centrally heated and double glazed to help you get a good night's sleep. We take pride in the cleanliness of our rooms which are regularly serviced ensuring a clean and fresh feel in each room. Each room is also equipped with a Safe to help protect your valuables during your stay. Meals in the Garlieston We take pride in our breakfast…we serve a full English breakfast with a good selection of fruit, cereals and yoghurts to start. Guests may eat in the Breakfast Conservatory or the Dinning Room to suit the needs of your party. We also cater for special diets by prior arrangement. Surcharge of £3.00 per person per night for single night occupancy Single occupancy of a double room is charged at £10.00 per night supplement subject to availability. Booking Terms On making a reservation a deposit of £20 per person is required to confirm the booking. Deposits are not usually refunded unless there are exceptional circumstances for the cancellation. Check-in time is by arrangement, we would be grateful if you could inform us as to when you are likely to arrive at the earliest possible time before your planned arrival. Check-out time on day of departure is 10:30, later by arrangement. Upon receipt of your deposit, your room will be held for you until 10.00pm on the date of your arrival, or later by prior arrangement. Prior to receipt of your deposit, your room will be provisionally held for up to 5 days. The balance of your accommodation fee is normally paid upon arrival by cash, cheque or credit/debit card. There is no charge for payment made using your credit card. Cancellations made with less than 50 days notice, the non refundable 10% deposit is taken if not already given.Guests failing to arrive and with no prior warning will be charged at 100% of the accommodation fee. For the above cancellation possibility we advise taking out holiday insurance. In the event of having to cancel the balance payment can then be recovered via your insurance policy. No refunds will be given for early departures. In line with recent laws we are 100% no smoking, this includes smoking with your head/arm or any part of your body out of the window. Guests will be asked to leave if suspected of smoking in any part of the building. Payments must be made in full with no refunds applicable and in addition a £50.00 surcharge will be made towards the cost of deep cleaning. If you or any of your party has any special needs such as mobility, dietary etc please advise us when enquiring and we will be happy to assist and inform you what facilities we have and are able to offer. Damages & breakages will be charged to replace, repair or renew items/property. Please note that we are closed December 24th to December 29th. How to Find Us Coming from the M5, follow signs to the South West and continue past Exeter following the A38. Continue until you reach the junction with the A380 and take this road to Torquay. Continue along the A380 into Torquay until you reach a fork in the road- look out for the sign for HALFORDS and Torre Railway Station on the right hand side of the road. Bear right at the traffic lights and onto Avenue Road following signs to the Seafront. Keep on this road past the next set of traffic lights and take the first left turning onto Bampfylde Road. Go up Bampfylde Road until you reach the junction with Bridge Road-you'll see the Garlieston to the left on the junction. |
