Hidden in the beautiful Vale of Kerry sits The Forest; a splendid Victorian country house set in 4 acres of gardens and paddocks. Its tranquil setting makes it the perfect place to relax and an ideal base from which to explore the many attractions of Mid Wales. Located on a quiet lane less than a mile from the centre of Kerry village it is only a 5 minute drive into Newtown on the border of Powys and Shropshire.

The Forest's 4 star luxury accommodation comprises of five attractive and comfortable en-suite double bedrooms, one with a four-poster bed for bed and breakfast. All the bedrooms and spacious drawing room, have views over the garden.

Accommodation

Each room at The Forest is named after a local Welsh forest in Powys, and has an en-suite bathroom, satellite television, DVD player, telephone and internet access as well as tea making facilities. Put-up beds for children under 12 or full sized single beds can be provided in the three larger rooms. All rooms are non-smoking.

Tennis Court and Gardens

The Forest has a tennis court and large gardens which all guests are welcome to enjoy. In addition, comfortable accommodation is available for guests' dogs in our kennels, and there is stabling for up to three horses in outbuildings adjacent to the main house.

At The Forest we offer high quality bed and breakfast accommodation for walkers, riders, cyclists, business people and holiday makers looking for somewhere special.

The Forest's secluded setting

The Forest Bed & Breakfast is set in 4.5 acres of garden and paddocks in the secluded and peaceful Kerry Valley of Mid Wales.

There is a lot to see and do in this beautiful area of The Marches including walking, cycling, golf, horse riding, castles to explore and pretty villages and towns.
