Family run quality Bed and Breakfast in the centre of this ancient village of Porlock. The proprietors, Angela and John, are well experienced in offering quality hospitality to the tourist industry, having owned and personally managed Doverhay Place, Porlock (previously Countrywide Holidays), for years.
The Cottage is situated in the centre of the village with easy access to a good selection of pubs/restaurants and unique local shops.
The accommodation is beautifully appointed. All bedrooms are of a good size and are tastefully decorated, all have en suite facilities, hospitality tray, with fresh milk, TV, and luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen.
Super Full English Breakfast offering lots of healthy and vegetarian options, cereals, buts, seeds, fresh fruit, yoghurt. Local produced preserves, locally roasted coffee and locally blended tea, plus Earl Grey, green tea and fruit teas.
Evening meals by prior arrangement.
Bedrooms
2 double bedded with en suite shower rooms.
1 twin (or double zip linked) with en suite bathroom with hand shower on taps.
1 single room with shower and WC.
An additional bed can be put into two of our rooms to accommodate an extra person.
Travel cot also available.
In addition to the above accommodation we also have available a self contained annexe (20 yards from main house) comprising a twin bedded room, double bedded room and one separate shower room with WC. This accommodation is available to same group occupants. It is available on a room only basis, or Bed and Breakfast. Ask for details.
