We have a long standing good reputation and have been a quality choice for accommodation in Exeter for almost two decades. In more recent years the hotel has undergone substantial refurbishment to bring it up to the highest modern standards. We now have a four diamond RAC rating and we are continuously working to maintain and exceed that level of service. The recent works include new guest rooms (some on the ground floor) and a beautiful courtyard. From the sun terrace at the back of the property there are wonderful views over the West of the city and the riverside parks.

For Touring guests

You will be within easy walking distance of our magnificent 14th Century cathedral and the city centre where you can explore the Roman city wall and Norman castle.

You can browse the quayside antique shops or just enjoy the delights of the riverside. In under an hour you can drive out of the city to Dartmoor (with its famous wild ponies), Exmoor or the splendour of East Devon's Jurassic Coastline. Using Exeter as a base you can explore these rugged beautiful landscapes, visit picture postcard villages nestled in patchwork fields or just simply sit and enjoy all that makes the South West the place for a holiday.

For Business guests

We can offer an early breakfast, off road parking and fax modem points. The University, coach and railway stations are nearby as is the M5 link and the Airport. Sowton and Marsh Barton industrial estates are about 15 minutes away by car.

How to Find Us:

By Road - Our Guest House is on the North West side of the city between the centre and St. David's station, just off the A377 (drive through the centre from the A30 or junction 29 off the M5).

By Train - The main station is St. David's station which is just 5 minutes walk away. (head towards the city centre or catch a taxi or minibus).
