Set in the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Dales our newly refurbished period hotel is situated within easy reach of the market town of Skipton, the Gateway to the Dales.

Our restaurant uses only the finest local sourced ingredients to make your meal as special as your stay. The Tarn House Restaurant is also open to reservations for a romantic meal or special occasions.

There is a large car parking area around the hotel at the end of our superb tree lined driveway. Within 10 minutes, you can be in the centre of Skipton. Here you will find a wide array of shopping facilities and tourist attractions.

Skipton is probably mist famous for its Castle. The Castle is over 900 years old and is one of the best and most preserved medieval castles in England. You can imagine what life was like when the castle was fully working.

The Leeds - Liverpool Canal runs through the heart of Skipton. Boat rides are available. Skipton is also a market town, with markets weekly. Our reception can advise you on local facilities and attractions.

Directions

From M6 Motorway: - At junction 31 follow signs for A59 Skipton and Harrogate. Once on the A59 follow signs for Skipton. At Skipton stay on A65 to Harrogate until next roundabout marked B6265 (Skipton). At this roundabout take 4th exit (Raikes Road) at junction bear right, (White Hills Lane) Tarn House Hotel is then signposted on your right about a mile.
