Today The Talbot is a contemporary pub with a partitioned restaurant area, where great care has been taken not to spoil the pub's genuine character whenever it has been modernised. The exposed beams are original, as are many other parts of the building.
The best news of all for parents with young children is that The Talbot prides itself on being a family pub.
