Fresh flowers are placed in the public rooms. You will find a wide range of books from guide books through to history and fiction. Also available are local maps, and weather forecasts. Our menu changes daily, with each meal prepared with the finest fresh local ingredients. Soups, breads & ice creams are just some of the home-made delights that testify to the skills and dedication of our well-respected chef! Selections of fresh vegetables accompany the main course and each evening we offer a traditional hot pudding, a cold dessert and a selection of fine Cumbrian cheeses.
