Sunnyside is the family home of Lorraine & Frank Smith who will ensure a homely welcome awaits you.

Built in 1841 it is one of the oldest buildings in the area and has a B&B history spreading back over 60 years.

A deceptively large cottage, set in its own grounds. We really are larger than we look! All six en-suite rooms have their own style of décor. Continually modernised and upgraded to meet the needs of the 21st century guest yet it still retains its warm Cottage feel.

As a family run B&B we love to have families and as such our family room reflects that. With a safe and secure rear garden with pleasantly lit patio area you can enjoy the warm Summer evening’s and relax (of course Scottish weather permitting).

General Facilities
We offer several catagories of rooms all of which are all en-suite. All rooms have as standard : Colour remote TV; Tea, Coffee, Kettle, Biscuits etc; Alarm Clock Radio; Heated Towel Rail; Hair Dryer; 110v/240v electric shaver points.

The term en-suite
An en-suite room has the following facilities within the main room and is not shared with anybody else: WC; Sink; Shower; Heated Towel Rail and a selection of Toiletries.

Families
Our large family room has a Video player and a selection of children’s video’s and is decorated in a manner to suit families. Having a Double bed and two Single beds, you won’t find Bunk beds, Sofa or pull out beds.A novel idea is the privacy curtain. Put the kids to bed and the rest of the room is yours!A cot is available on request.

Local Area

We are well situated for the discerning Golfer, there are 11 Golf Courses within a 30 minute drive from our B&B.Loch Lomond offers Water Skiing, Para Gliding, Loch Cruises, Sea Plane Trips, Bike Hire and many other activities.Balloch has a Castle and Country Park ( host of many Top act Concerts) and this August we had the second annual Live at Loch Lomond Concert. The line up was : Groove Armada; Sex Pistols;The Attic Lights; Ocean Colour Scene; Dykeenies & the Complete Stone Roses. ( What a line up!)Locally we have a number of Outlet Stores/ Galleriesproviding value for money shopping.

Ben Lomond

At 974 m / 3,196 feet, is a mountain in the Scottish Highlands. Its is east of loch Lomond, is the most southerly of the Munros and is clearly visible frm our B&B.
It has easy accessibility from Loch Lomond. Together with the relative ease of ascent from Rowardennan, from where a well-trodden track runs all the way to the summit, makes it one of the most popular Munros.The summit can also be seen from Ben Nevis, the highest peak in Britain, over 40 miles away
