| There are many places of interest in Kendal - they include the Museum of Lakeland Life, Abbot Hall Art Gallery, the Brewery Arts Centre, the Quaker Tapestry and the 13th century Kendal Castle. Whilst in the town why not try the world famous Kendal mint cake. |
| For the more energetic there is a well equipped leisure Centre including a swimming pool. There is a Dry Ski Slope, a Climbing Wall, 5 Golf courses within a 20 minute drive, and 2 within a 5 minute drive, as well as two Golf Driving ranges. Leisure walks and Cycle Routes are in abundance. |  |
