Strete Ralegh Farm is a Grade II listed farmhouse in a lovely rural setting midway between Exeter and Honiton. It is only six miles from M5 J29 and one mile from A30.
We also provide car parking and transfers for Exeter Airport which is only 10 minutes away.
Ideally situated for both the leisure and business visitor - a touring base while you explore the countryside and World Heritage coastline of the South West but also easy access to Exeter with its Cathedral, University, Airport, Business Parks and Westpoint Exhibition Centre.
Accommodation
Strete Ralegh Farm offers three spacious bedrooms, one king size and one standard double both ensuite and a twin room with a private bathroom
All the rooms are well equipped and furnished to a high standard with central heating throughout. A stair lift is available for those who are less mobile.
There is a guest lounge with colour TV, video, stereo and a selection of maps and books/leaflets of local interest for guests to borrow.
There is also a large garden area which guests are welcome to use, the property being set in about 10 acres of land.
We provide full English breakfasts with local produce used wherever possible. Evening meals are available on request though there is good selection of pubs and restaurants offering a wide range of cuisines nearby.
Please note that we do have a no-smoking policy.
Location
Strete Ralegh Farm is an ideal base for touring the Westcountry with Exeter and the M5 being only ten minutes drive away so giving easy access to many places of interest. Apart from the Cathedral City of Exeter itself there is also the coast of South Devon and Dorset, Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks and a number of National Trust properties all within easy reach. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are also both easily visited in a day trip as is the North coast of Devon with its surfing beaches.
A range of activities are also available nearby - golf, riding, fishing, swimming etc. as well as wonderful countryside to explore on foot or bicycle for those seeking some fresh air and exercise.
Directions
From Exeter leave the M5 at Junction 29 and follow A30 towards Honiton. After 6 miles leave A30 at Daisymount Junction, signed Ottery St Mary and Whimple. Take B3180 towards Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton and almost immediately after leaving the roundabout turn right signed Strete Ralegh. ½ mile turn right again signed Strete Ralegh. After a further ½ mile the road takes a sharp right turn and then and sharp left at which point Strete Ralegh Farm is immediately in front of you, set back from the road down a private drive.
From Honiton leave the A30 at the Daisymount Junction signed Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton and then follow directions as above.
Tariff
From £30.00 per person per night including full English breakfast (based on two people sharing a room).
Light evening meals available on request.
Car parking and airport transfers are £35.00 for one week and £60.00 for two weeks.
