The St Mawes Hotelis set right on the waters edge and is one of the oldest of the few small hotels comprising the picturesque village of St Mawes. ![]() The hotel was substantially refurbished during the winter of 1999 and the individually designed bedrooms are decorated to a high standard to ensure guests comfort. All the bedrooms are simple and stylish with good beds, wicker chairs, flowers and white walls that absorb the light. Three of our bedrooms have the most superb sea views. ![]() St Mawes benefits from a temperature climate making it a year round treat. For those wishing to simply relax you could not have found a more beautiful or peaceful resort for your Cornish holiday. |

The Fountain Bar The hub of the hotel is a lively ground floor bar that opens out onto the street in summer. Mediterranean colours, wooden floors and sofas keep the atmosphere informal. ![]() The Fountain Bar is where many locals and yachtsmen can be found during opening hours. Here guests can relax and eat in a casual style and enjoy one or two dishes from the changing Fountain Bar Menu. For the more energetic, activities include sailing, windsurfing, swimming, tennis, or even a leisurely round of golf. There are many locals coastal walks, and trips to gardens such as Trelissick, Trebah or the lost gardens of Heligan. The famous Eden project is just a 25 minute drive from the Hotel and is well worth a visit, as is the National Maritime Museum which is a short ferry ride away in Falmouth. |
The Brasserie ![]() The Brasserie situated on the first floor of the hotel is well known for its warm, friendly atmosphere and good food. Our chef's use nothing but the best of fresh local seafood and quality Westcountry produce to create light, imaginative and generous dishes, along with classic favourites. That coupled with the stunning sea views and perhaps a table on the balcony for dinner make the Brasserie one of the more popular eating choices in St Mawes. |
