Welcome to St. Mark's Country House Accommodation and home to Creative Leisure. Built in 1872 as the vicarage for Cautley Church and now a Listed Building, the house enjoys a magnificent setting. St. Mark's also represents a convenient base for visiting Sedbergh, England's book town and the many other attractions of the Lake District, Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales.

Simply enjoy the slow pace and atmosphere of our beautiful unspoilt countryside with its fells, streams, wildlife and flowers which surround St. Mark's. Situated in the dale of Cautley within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the views overlook the River Rawthey and the imposing Eastern flank of the Howgill Fells.

The accommodation at St. Mark's reflects the elegance of the Victorian age.

There are 5 bedrooms in total, 3 twin and 1 family. All the bedrooms benefit from private baths or showers, tea/coffee making facilities and colour televisions with DVD are also provided?

St. Mark's is also an ideal venue for conferences, seminars, training events and family reunions.

There are a number of rooms for group meetings and the usual range of audio visual aids.

Being easily accessible yet away from everyday distractions, allows undisturbed confidential discussion to take place throughout both day and evening at St. Mark's.

Please note that St. Mark's is non-smoking accommodation.

To assist me to look after the pine floors at St. Mark's it would be appreciated if stiletto heels were not worn.
