| St. Cleather is a relatively new house, built in the early 1960's in the old part of Pulborough which is now a conservation area. The house is south facing providing splendid views across the water-meadows and flood plain to the South Downs ten miles away. Guests are welcomed at the front door which is through a wrought iron gate, once checked in are free to come and go as they please. We are situated in the village centre and only a 2 minute walk from one of the local Public houses, the Tea Room, and half a mile away from the mainline railway station, which provides a good twice hourly service to London, Victoria Station with easy access to the West End Theatres. Pulborough Village is situated in the heart of historic West Sussex making it an ideal position from which to explore the area which still shows evidence of the Roman occupation nearly 2000 years ago. Accomodation... Peter and Jill have lived in the village for 18 years but only moved to St Cleather in 2002 and have completely rebuilt the upstairs accommodation which comprises: One double with en-suite shower room One twin bedded room with a private bathroom Each room is of a high standard an equipped with:
