| 5 Stars Silver Award from Visit Britain Spears Cross dates from 15th century and is characterized by many attractive period features. Offering four en suite rooms, comfortable lounge and a traditional linen tabled dining room; Spears Cross provides a touch of quality.The house has a car park for guests. The house is strictly non smoking. Sorry, but pets are not allowed. All major cards accepted.   Accommodation Charm and Heritage The comfortable lounge has wooden flooring, ceiling beams and an inglenook fireplace with an ornate wood burning stove; ideal on a winter's day. The dining room retains the servants' bell. The covered outline of the plague door, which linked the majority of the cottages' can be seen. Three bedrooms enjoy oak flooring and two of the rooms have elm wall paneling. We have a suite, at the rear of the property. All bedrooms are en suite and offer Super King Size beds. All have magazines, flat screen TV Bose Music System, tea and coffee making facilities, fresh fruit, hair dryer and quality bathrobes.
Food and Drink Outstanding Quality A hearty breakfast sets you up for the day and is an important part of enjoying a holiday break. Spears Cross features local and organic produce where possible. Our bacon is locally smoked and our sausages are award winning. Bread made from flour from the nearby Water Mill is available. Apple juice comes from a local cider farm and orange and grapefruit juice are freshly squeezed each morning. |
