Welcome to the Southmead Guesthouse.
We sincerely hope that you enjoy your stay here with us. The Southmead is owned by the Whitt family. Some of you may have stayed at our sister hotel in Swansea called the Glevdon Park Hotel. We have been running the Glevdon Park Hotel for eight years and have recently taken over the Southmead Guesthouse. We enjoy providing a value for money service and are happy to answer any questions that you may have.
The Southmead Guesthouse is in a wonderfully convenient location. It is situated between Llanelli Town Centre and the new Millennium Coastal Park. The Guesthouse is within 200 meters from the town centre and the local train station.
The Southmead guesthouse is close to both Pembrey Country Park, and the National Botanical Gardens of Wales. If you have children or are you are young at heart there is a lot to offer with the nightlife of both Llanelli and Swansea plus Oakwood Theme Park is only an hour away. There are numerous fishing and surfing spots in the vicinity.
If you require extra blankets and pillows they are in the cupboard. We have alarm clocks and hairdryers available. There is a downstairs seating area in the breakfast room where you are welcome to read or watch television and the times for this are between 11am and 11pm.
If you need help with your luggage, more coat hangers or use of the iron and ironing board please do ask. Towels are provided for your temporary use and soaps are also available. You will also find a basket of razors, combs, toothbrushes and paste, shower caps and shampoo for your convenience.
Llanelli is a town that is improving with time and has many lovely churches and buildings and various tourist attractions. We look forward to welcoming you to Llanelli. |
