![]() Southlands is a large traditional property set within its own extensive grounds on the Eastern fringe of the village. There are six letting rooms, five with en-suite facilities and the sixth having a private bathroom. All have colour TV plus tea/coffee making facilities. The house is situated approximately eight minutes walk from the village centre and is open all year round, including Christmas and New Year. We are a non smoking establishment and provide bed and breakfast/evening meals all in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. There is also a TV lounge and of course the beautiful gardens for the use of all our residents. Breakfast is served between 8:00 - 8:30 in our spacious dining room with a choice of the more traditional full English or the refreshing Continental breakfasts with a vegetarian option. ![]() Also within the grounds and separate from the main hours is a comfortable, self catering, fully furnished three bedroom cottage open all year and available for holiday lets, short breaks and weekends. The cottage is suitable for people with limited mobility as it has two downstairs bedrooms and a bathroom.Anon smoking accommodation this cosy cottage sleeps 5 adults and is fully furnished and equipped with central heating, television/video. All linen supplied. As guests of Southland the picturesque garden is open for you to enjoy and a small well behaved pet. There is parking for 2 cars, use of a wheelchair & transport by prior arrangement: There is also the option of purchasing meals from the main house. |

| Bourton on the Water Affectionately known as the Venice of the Cotswolds, Bourton on the Water is a large village situated in the heart of the North Cotswolds, just off the A429 Fosse Way. Its enormous character and appear, with period Cotswold houses and shops flanking the river Windrush as it winds its way through the village make Bourton on the Water an ever popular tourist destination. ![]() The Village is well served with a range of local amenities including quality gift shops, restaurants, public houses and hotels. There is also a hairdresser, supermarkets, a library and post office, together with churches of different denominations, schools and a cottage hospital. The Major Cities of Cheltenham, Gloucester, Oxford and Bath are all within easy reach and the motorway network, M4, M5 and M40, is just the right distance away! The nearby railway stations of Kingham and Moreton provide a rail link to London with a regular service to Paddington with a journey time of approximately 1 ½ hours. |

| In the Village The Cotswold Perfumery is not just an exhibition but a whole experience including "Smelly Vision" in a specially built theatre. There is also an ingredients room, a perfume quiz and a perfumed garden where an abundance of fragrant flowers and herbs delight the senses. ![]() The Cotswold Motoring Museum and Toy Collection is a great place for all the family, featuring fine many cars plus a huge collection of enamel advertising signs. The museum is crammed with motoring memorabilia motorbikes and bicycles. Children will love the BBC TV character "Brum". There is also a wonderful new exhibition of toys and pedal cars. |

Bourton on the Water - The ultimate picturesque village; streams, bridges, cottages and shops plus exotic birds, our very own model village and a vintage car museum. Broadway - Probably everyone's favourite Cotswold Village. Shops, restaurants, galleries and antique shops aplenty. Burford - A hillside Cotswold village with cobbled alleyways charming cottages and shops plus delightful pubs. Chipping Campden - Beautiful Cotswold village featuring a wide selection of shops including a working silversmiths. Stow on the Wold - More galleries and antique shops than you can shake a hat at!! Further afield are the Stratford upon Avon, Warwick, Oxford and Cheltenham |
